Falls of the Raucous Falls River

With a promising name like 'Falls River' this Baraga County river makes a promise - and it delivers. The waters flow down from Herman and Bovine, tumbling over slate and volcanic rock, forming dozens of drops and rapids before spilling out into Keweenaw Bay in L'Anse. The only dam that held it back was removed over a decade ago.
