The Wild Huron River

Few of the Upper Peninsula's rivers have as large of a watershed and waters as pristine as the Huron River. East of Skanee, without a single town or major road along its length, this river drains the highlands south and east of Mount Arvon. It also holds two impressive gorges, one on each branch, and has several famous campgrounds near its mouth.
