Mostly composed of flat swamps and forests, Luce County is not known for a large number of waterfalls. Most of the county is protected within state forests whose primary inhabitants are insects and insects. There is one main waterfall here, though, a pair of drops along the Tahquamenon River that are some of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi.
